The magician shows a deck of cards and asks the spectator to place it behind their back. Then, they are asked to draw two cards and place them face up in the middle of the deck. Inexplicably, the cards chosen by the spectator perfectly match the magician's prediction!

This trick was created by magician João Miranda, and the method allows the illusion to be automatic; that is, the deck does all the work and no manual dexterity is required.
