Imagine asking a spectator to simply think of any card in the deck.

Let’s suppose the spectator thinks of the 4 of hearts.

You then take the deck out of your pocket, remove it from its case, and spread the cards — there’s only one card reversed in the entire deck. Unbelievably, it’s the 4 of hearts, the very card the spectator thought of!

Any card can be thought of!
