Description

The magician shows a simple wooden box, bought years ago in an antique shop.

When he opened it for the first time, he found an old photograph of Harry Houdini, the “King of Cards", which hadn’t been there when he purchased it. Over time, he noticed that the box emitted strange sounds, as if Houdini’s spirit resided in it.

To demonstrate that, the magician takes a deck of cards and a marker from the box. A spectator chooses and signs a card, which is then returned to the deck and shuffled by the spectator himself. Next, the spectator begins to place the cards, one by one, into the box. Suddenly, the lid closes on its own — as if telling him to stop. The magician then asks the spectator to turn over the card in his hand… It’s his signed card!
